Not every ending is a defeat. Some endings simply mark the point where one chapter closes and another begins.
PropCat was a profoundly important part of my life. For a year and a half, we built it with exceptional people, real belief, and total commitment. There were no random people in that team. Not one. That is precisely why we were able to create something real.
I remain deeply proud of my impeccably honourable partners, Alex Beliaev and Denis Akopov. It was a real privilege — and, truly, a happiness — to walk this path with them over those eighteen months, just as it was with the other outstanding members of the team.
In the end, PropCat is closing because we could no longer reconcile different views on where the project should go next.
But the journey itself did not end there.
SotoCat grew out of PropCat and became possible only because the members of the former PropCat team stood behind and supported this next step. Without them, I would not have taken it. That is why this moment is so personal for me.
SotoCat is not just a new project. It is the continuation of a path that we began together — carried forward with gratitude, conviction, and the support of people I respect enormously.
Some projects close. What they give birth to can still move forward.
